At the 2022 NYS Trappers Convention, Gordy Berndt was named the 2022 Convention Honoree. John Rockwood did a nice article about him.

At the 2024 NYS Trappers Convention, Bob Hughes and his wife Bonnie were honored for their years of service to the organization. Over the years, Bob has served as an officer, Board member and as the auctioneer at many of the conventions. Bonnie has worked behind the scenes especially during the auctions. Bob and Bonnie were thanked for all their tireless work and presented with the plaque shown to the right.
At this year's Convention, John Stansfield was recognized for all the work he has done in support of the NYS Trappers Association and for promoting trapping in the State.
The Club received the Affiliate of the Year Award for its many years of supporting local trappers and its support of the NYS Trappers Association.
